Funeral services for Donald E. Myhre will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Cross of Glory Church, Hartland. The Rev. Dr. Mark Hillmer will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Donald passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN on Friday, January 8, 2016. He was 83 years old.
Margaret Ann Crumb passed away at home with her husband and four children by her side on January 7, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. at the age of 83.
Margaret is survived by her devoted husband, Bill of 64 years. Bill married his dear, Maggie on June 26th, 1951, on Margaret’s 19th birthday at the First Presbyterian Church in Albert Lea, MN.
Margaret is lovingly remembered by children, Christine (Tom) Meyer of St. Paul, MN, Dennis of Duluth, MN, Rex (Collette) of Mahtomedi, MN and Rebecca (Jeff) Crumb-Johnson of Washburn, WI. She is survived by her grandchildren, Nick and Anne Meyer, Jake, Mackenzie and Will Crumb and Ida and Seth Johnson. She is also survived by her sister Marie Hall in Kanawah, Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.
Duane Roland Wachholz, age, 79 of Nisswa, passed on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Good Samaritan Society–Oakwood in Brainerd from complications of Alzheimer’s disease. He was born on July 19, 1936 in Waconia to Rueben and Luella Wachholz. He attended Waconia High School then entered and dutifully served in the Marine Corps from 1954-1956. His long career in sales and marketing of the music industry gained him great success and many long-lasting friendships before retiring to a lake home on Roy Lake. Duane was an avid boater who loved the outdoors, especially his shed that housed all of his toys. He loved Jesus, life, laughter, and most of all his family.
Funeral services for Florence E. Possehl will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Albert Lea. Pastor James Kassera will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Florence E. Possehl passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at Thorne Crest Retirement Community in Albert Lea, MN. She was 90 years old.
On July 17, 1925 Florence was born to Rosamunda and Otto Neumann in Waseca County, rural Minnesota. She graduated from high school in New Richland. She worked at the Hemp Plant and the meat market in New Richland after high school. Then, she married her husband, Alfred John Possehl at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in New Richland on January 20, 1950. After getting married, Florence worked on two dairy farms and help with chores. In August of 1958, the couple moved into their Adams Ave residence in Albert Lea.
Glenn Christian Felsheim, 86, of LaCrosse, Wis., passed away peacefully Dec. 24, 2015, at the Bethany St. Joseph Health Care Center.
He was born Mar 11, 1929 to Christian and Angela Felsheim. He married Katharine Matthews Dec 26, 1960, in La Crosse. He enjoyed gardening. Glenn is survived by his wife; 10 grandchildren and nine children. Glenn is preceded in death by one son; parents; two brothers; and three sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the St Joseph the Workman Cathedral, 530 Main St., La Crosse. Celebrant will be Msgr. Charles Stoetzel. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
Bonnie Jane Sax, age 74, of Garrison, died at the St. Cloud Hospital on December 25, 2015. She was born on April 25, 1941 in Ellendale, MN to Charles and Oriet (Demmer) Ribbe. Bonnie married Robert Sax on October 4, 1973 in Minneapolis. She was formerly from Coon Rapids, retiring to Garrison in 1998. She was a former Carlson Company Employee. Bonnie was a member of Light of the Cross Lutheran Church in Garrison.
Anita Genelle Kohl, 80, of Burlington, Iowa, died at 10:22 a.m. Saturday, December 19, 2015, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born November 9, 1935, in New Richland, MN, she was the daughter of Peter and Ruby Hage Schjei. On April 5, 1954, she married Shirley Dean Conwell in New Richland, MN. They later divorced. She married Robert Kohl on July 4, 1986 in Burlington. They later divorced.
Anita was the Des Moines County Recorder for 32 years before she retired.
Peggy Ann (Paulson) Radjenovich, age 52, of Somerset, WI, formerly of Clarks Grove, MN, passed away December 15, 2015 in the presence of family.
She was the nurse manager of the PICU at Children’s Hospital in St. Paul.
She is survived by husband Joel, children Charles, Ivan (Iris), and Lizzy Stohl; Nicholas (Alyssa Cordie), Joshua Radjenovich, parents Mildred and Allen Paulson, siblings Peter (Stephanie Kibler) Paulson, Parke (Sharon) Paulson, and many other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 23 at Ellendale UMC, 200 6th St. N. Ellendale.

Marlin O. Sandsmark was born on December 30, 1929 on the family farm in Waseca County, the son of Oscar and Mabel (Neumann) Sandsmark. Marlin grew up in rural New Richland and attended country school.
Geraldine C. Vangen, age 78, passed away December 16, 2015, at the Owatonna Hospital. Funeral service is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015 at St. John Lutheran church, Owatonna. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the funeral service starting at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at First Lutheran Cemetery, Ellendale.
Geraldine was born Sept. 25, 1937 in Albert Lea, MN to Raymond and Verdell (Hagen) Distad. She grew up in the Hope area, graduating from Owatonna High School class of 1955. After high school Gerry worked as an accountant for the Steele County Highway Department where she worked until retirement. She married Kenneth Steele in spring of 1963 in Owatonna, and later she married Odean Vangen in the fall of 1977. They both preceded her in death.

Robert Donald Schafer, 93, of Owatonna died Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at New Richland Care Center in New Richland, Minnesota.
Robert was born October 9, 1922 in Waseca, Minnesota the son of Walter and Esther (Wobschall) Schafer. He grew up in Janesville, MN and graduated from Janesville High School. Robert served in the Air Force for 37 months and was stationed in Florida and Hawaii. He was honorably discharged in 1946. On June 1, 1947, he was united in marriage to Viola Possin at Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. They were married for 68 years. They moved to Owatonna where Bob worked for Josten’s as an engraver for 41 years.
Loretta Mae Linders, 88, of Owatonna, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at District One Hospital in Faribault, Minnesota.
She was born October 5, 1927 in Waseca County, Minnesota the daughter or Lawrence and Grace (Leslie) Willday. She attended country school. Loretta was united in marriage to Russell Linders on October 13, 1945 at the Congregational United Church of Christ, Medford. They made their home in New Richland until 1966 when they moved to Owatonna. Loretta stayed home to care for their six children. In 1978 she began working at Brown Printing in Waseca for five years.
Funeral services for Clara K. Jensen White will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015 at United Methodist Church in Ellendale, MN. Pastor Randy Cirksena will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Geneva Cemetery.
Clara K. Jensen White, who was 105 years and 4 months old, died December 5, 2015 at the Care Center in Onalaska, Wisconsin where she had lived for several years.
Clara was born a full-blooded Swede on July 26, 1910 in Kiron, Iowa, to John and Anna Sward. She grew up in Iowa and attended school in Ida Grove. She married Gordon Jensen at the First Baptist Church in Clarks Grove on November 30, 1927, and they made their home in Geneva. Gordon died in 1961. Three years later, Clara married Reverend John White, the United Methodist pastor in Geneva. They were married for 29 years until his death in 1993. Clara was an active member of the Geneva Methodist Church for many years. She was spiritual and devoted to her bible reading and studies. Her closeness to God was undoubtedly her strength and devotion and why she lived so long.
Elaine E. Wondra of rural Blooming Prairie died December 7, 2015 at Prairie Manor Care Center in Blooming Prairie. Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at Litomysl. Friends may greet the family on Friday, Dec. 11, from 4-7 p.m. at the Brick–Meger Funeral home (1603 Austin Road, Owatonna) and one hour before the funeral liturgy at the church on Friday. A parish rosary will be recited at 3:45 Friday at the funeral home.
