Mom was also a MN Twins fan and enjoyed MN Gopher basketball and football.
She was born February 26, 1931, the daughter of Floyd and Gertrude Haushahn, and a life-long resident of New Richland. She married Lloyd Kroeger on October 7, 1949 and together they had three children: Kathy, Jerry, and Michael. When Lloyd became ill, Arlene began working at Brown Printing and then E.F. Johnson’s where she would retire after 25 years of service. Lloyd died in 1970 and on August 21, 1976 she married Paul Pfeffer. The couple enjoyed gardening together, visiting family, and Saturday nights at the Torchlight in Mapleton.
After Paul passed in 2008, Mom lived in her home independently until a stroke in 2012 forced her to move into the Beacon in New Richland.
