Ruth S. Enzenauer, age 86 of Ellendale, passed away at home on August 11, 2022. Ruth was born August 19, 1935, daughter of Raymond and Ruby (Newby) Hill of Elmore, MN. She lived in Elmore, Ogilvie, Bricelyn before moving to Ellendale, where she graduated High School. Ruth worked at Jostens until she married and spent her time as a housewife and working on the farm. Sewing was one of Ruth’s many talents, which she used in her creation of personalized quilts for each of her grandchildren. She was also very proud to be an active member of Zion Lutheran Church of Lemond WELCA group. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Howard Hill; grandson, Jason Macht. Ruth is survived by husband of 66 years, Marvin; children, Linda (Gary) Seykora of Owatonna, Dan Enzenauer (special friend Shelly Standke) of Ellendale, Dawn (David) Macht of Owatonna, Tim Enzenauer of Ellendale, Suzann (Tracy) Skaar of Hayward; grandchildren, Tony Seykora, Amanda Nelson, Andrew Enzenauer, Vicki Eipers, Dana Standke, Miranda Macht, Mic Skaar, Jay Skaar, Shayna Skaar; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Ali, Colin, Aleah, Kristiana, Wyatt, Rhett and Ruth; nephew Kevin Holman of Columbia, MO. A Funeral Service was held for Ruth at Zion Lutheran Church and she was interred in their cemetery on August 16, 2022.

Maurice “Moe” Mullenmaster, 63, of Ellendale, MN, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. 

Maurice was born on December 18, 1948 in Morristown, MN to Leo and Creta (Lonergan) Mullen- master. He was raised on the family farm in Onamia, MN and graduated from Onamia High School. Following his graduation, he attended college at the Univer- sity of Minnesota. 

On May 3, 1986 he married Ter- rie (Flesche) and later moved to El- lendale to raise their two children, Ebonie and Cole. Maurice enjoyed spending time with his family and weekend road trips with Terrie. The grill master of the family, he loved smoking and barbecuing family meals, but Saturdays were reserved for Moe’s homemade pizza. Maurice loved the outdoors and had a passion for hunting and fishing. He especially looked for- ward to trips “up north” with his kids. 

Myron “Butch” Marlin Schumacher, 90, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2022 with his loving family by his side. 

Myron was born on August 4, 1931 to Carl and Loretta (Kettner) Schumacher on the family farm in Leavenworth Township.  He attended school at the Leavenworth Township Country School.  When he finished 8th grade, he then helped work on the family farm and drove gravel truck for his uncle.  

On November 28, 1950, Myron enlisted in the United States Army.  When he returned home after basic training, he married the love of his life, Eldoris (Kettner) on October 17, 1951.  They moved to Boston, MA where Myron would serve as an Army Security Agent until November 6, 1953.  Myron was proud to have served in the Army and was recently honored for 60 years of service with the American Legion. 

Dale Gustav Mrotz, 84, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2022, with his family by his side at his home in Ellendale, MN. 

Dale was born on August 1, 1937 in Albert Lea, MN, to Gustav and Mabel (Franke) Mrotz. He was raised on the family farm and grad- uated from Ellendale Geneva Schools in 1956. Following gradu- ation, he began working at Queen Stove Works in Albert Lea, MN while determined to achieve his goal of having a family and farm- ing as well. 

On June 27, 1957, Dale married his lifelong partner, Barbara Lang- lie. Together, they raised 4 children: Monty, Lisa, Victor and Daniel. They bought a piece of land, traded the family car for an Oliver tractor, and never looked back. In 1969, he added school bus driver to his family and farming duties. He drove bus for 38 years at his alma mater. A few years later, Dale and Barb opened their home up to their special nephew, Jason Langlie. Dale and Jason took weekly car rides, collected pop cans, and loved to check on the farm. 

Diane Marie Fox, 67, of New Richland, Minnesota, passed away June 28, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Diane fought a courageous battle against Corticobasal Degeneration and passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at her sons home in Tulsa, OK.

Diane was born on July, 5, 1954, to Edward and Shirley Frederick in Mankato, Minnesota.  She was the second of five children.  Bonnie was the oldest child followed by Diane, Donald, Kenny, and Karen.  Growing up she was very active in the church, she enjoyed 4H and spending time with friends, and loved her pet monkey Pud.  Diane, Bonnie, and Karen were like three peas in a pod.  Their favorite song was “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”, and that is exactly how all three lived their lives.  She had many life long friendships that she valued and would be a friend to anyone in need.  Diane was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others.
