The Friends of the New Richland Public Library are sponsoring a new event during Farm & City Days from 2-4 Saturday, July 9 at the N.R. City Hall garage.
You will have an opportunity to have your favorite antique item appraised. Carole and Jerry Bode have 40 years of antique experience, most recently owning Cherry Lane Antiques in New Ulm. Following some opening remarks about collecting they will appraise 30-40 items. They don't do precious gems or guns. To secure an appraisal call 507-456-7349. The cost per appraisal is $5. Sign up early as plenty of interest is expected.

Clue No. 2 in the New Richland Farm and City Days medallion hunt:
Some things in our town are important to some people. Some things help put food on our tables, shoes on our feet, or coats on in the winter. We can't forget the people who help make this a part of our town.
Something else important to us is water. While let's not forget some water is rain, but with rain you can get a rainbow and at the end of a rainbow could be a pot of gold!
Keeping these important things at the top of your list will help lead you to me.
