The New Wine Ministry performance troupe from Zion Lutheran in Cloquet is wrapping up their tour again with an overnight stay at LeSueur River Lutheran Church on Saturday, June 18.

All are invited to worship on Sunday June 19, 9 a.m. at LSR, at which they will share a portion of their performance “Children of Eden.”

 

The 5th Annual FCA Night at Braves baseball game is set for Friday, June 17 at Tink Larson Field in Waseca vs. Stewartville.

“Celebrity” first pitch at 7:25 p.m. Admission is free for students and only $2 for adults if wearing FCA apparel (shirt, cap, etc). Early in the game there will be a baseball toss contest to win four quality Twin’s tickets. Other contests and prizes too. Fun for all ages!

 

Orders are currently being accepted for bricks at Memorial Park in New Richland.

Please allow a minimum of two weeks from ordering to installing. The next install date will be prior to July 1. Cost is $100, your choice of wording with or without artwork. If you are interested in ordering a brick, stop at City Hall in New Richland and fill out a form or call Gail Schmidt at (507) 383-1147.

If you have not had the opportunity to visit Memorial Park, the area next to the post office, please do so. There are now 60 bricks installed.

 

Help with painting, clean-up, yard work and other items is needed at the building being renovated to house the NR Area Food Shelf and NR Area Historical Society.

The building will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, June 13 to Friday, June 17.

We have some supplies (paint), but please bring items necessary for working such as paint brushes, etc.

NRHEG will be running a girls’ basketball camp June 13-16 for girls going in grades 3-8. The cost will be $40 per camper, and will include instruction on fundamentals from the NRHEG coaching staff and the Panther girls’ varsity basketball players. It also includes a camp T-shirt.

When: Monday, June 13-Thursday, June 16 

Time: 3rd-4th grade girls 9-10:30 a.m.

5th-6th grade girls 10:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
