Explore and inspire as an Interpretive Volunteer with the Steele County Historical Society.

The Steele County Historical Society is seeking interpretive volunteers to act as tour guides, building docents and interpreters for the 2017 tour season in the Village of Yesteryear and the Steele County History Center.

Tour Guides lead groups of visitors building to building through the Village of Yesteryear and History Center, sharing stories and historical detail about the buildings, artifacts and the people of Steele County.

Building Docents are stationary in one building, and act as a building host, delivering commentary on the buildings and the exhibits for large group events, such as Extravaganza, SCFF, and Christmas in the Village.
