Family, friends celebrate with longtime NR store owner
A 90th birthday party for esteemed New Richland resident Edna Erdmann was held Saturday, November 2, at her store, Gambles Do It Best in New Richland. Meyer has been an employee at the store for 49 years. Gold has worked there approximately 35 years. Schiltz returns to state for third consecutive year
NRHEG High School senior T.J. Schiltz finds himself all alone in second place during the Section 2AA cross country meet Thursday at Montgomery. Schiltz finished second in the race, advancing to the state meet for the third year in a row. The state meet is Saturday, Nov. 2 at St. Olaf College in Northfield. (Star Eagle photo by Chris Schlaak)
Fall Festival

All Saints Catholic Church in New Richland held its annual Fall Festival recently. Many people, young and old alike, enjoyed a turkey dinner with all the trimmings and outdoor games as well as bingo. People were also able to bid on items for a silent auction, enter a raffle, and buy things at the country store.
