Otto enjoyed continuing the legacy of the family farm; he considered it his piece of paradise. Otto described himself as a dreamer, scholar, philosopher, and historian. He enjoyed people and sharing stories. His interests included family genealogy, history, architecture, reading, carving, horses, landscaping and gardening. Shared interests with his late wife Delores included bird watching, antiquing and flea marketing, holiday traditions and celebrations.
Otto loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them and attending their activities. The family will miss his love, wisdom, and his caring ways.
Otto is survived by daughters Kristine Neumann (Ray Mielke) of Hartland, Shannon Neumann (Michael Sleeper) of Shawano, WI, Stephanie Neumann Raymo (Michael Raymo) of Mankato, Kari Neumann-Scholl (Steve Scholl) of Owatonna, and son Daniel Neumann of New Richland. Grandchildren Tara Fricke, Samantha Raymo, Lance Raymo, Megan Neumann Sleeper, Ethan Scholl, Alearah Neumann, Dylan Neumann Sleeper, Lillian Scholl, Connor Neumann Sleeper, and Arionna Neumann and great-grandchildren Malayah, Elyse, Ryder, and Josie.
Otto is also survived by sisters Florence Possehl and Alice (LeRoy) Sutlief, and brother Virgil (Janet) Neumann, and sister-in-law Dorthea Neumann, brother-in-laws LaVerne (Marion) Sorenson, Allan Sorenson, sister-in-laws Sharon Walters and June Buenger, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores, parents Otto W. and Rosamunda Neumann, sister Dorothy Sutlief, and brother Raymond Neumann.
