Library announces upcoming events
On Tuesday, January 21, the Waseca Library at 408 N. State St. will host an evening with live music and trivia competition. It should be fun and also no charge to the public. It begins at 7 p.m. Another library event coming up in March of 2014 that you could mark your new calendar for is an evening with author William Kent Krueger. Krueger has written many mystery novels set in Minnesota and lives in St Paul. This evening is at the Montgomery Public Library March 13 at 7 p.m. To name just a few of his novels: Northwest Angle, Tamarack County, Ordinary Gracew and Tricksters Point. It should be very interesting. Local artist Bernie Anderson recently put a watercolor painting of France in the public library in New Richland. Come by and see. Perhaps more art by Bernie will follow.
