Faith was a major part of Bonnie’s life. She was a member of Hartland Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years. She also helped with Ladies Aid and was a Circle Officer. Bonnie was also a 4-H key leader.
Bonnie excelled in crafts. She was a very good seamstress, even making dresses for weddings and proms. She enjoyed cross stitching, cooking, solitaire, card games, bowling, golfing, camping, gardening and traveling. Together, Bonnie and LeRoy vacationed in Arizona every from 1974 through 2007.
Bonnie was a very family oriented person. She loved each and every member of her family, from her husband, to her great-grandchildren. She was always there for people. She made time for everyone, even if it always didn’t fit her schedule. She put others before herself, and would go out of her way to please others. “She was a very gentle, caring, lovely lady that always had that special twinkle in her eye.”
