Remembering Helen Dulas……

Funeral Services for Veronica “Helen” Dulas of New Richland, MN will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Church of All Saints in New Richland.  Father Donald Schmitz will officiate. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, New Richland.  Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service at the church. A short prayer service will be offered by the family at 1 p.m. Friedrich Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Helen died  peacefully at Golden Living West in Rochester, MN on May 27, 2013. She was 86.

She was born August 17, 1926, at the Waseca Memorial Hospital in Waseca. She graduated from Freeborn High School. She married Ambrose Dulas on June 24, 1957, in New Richland.

Throughout her life, Helen had worked at M&J Johnson Mercantile Company, Land O’Lakes, E.F. Johnson in Waseca, served as church custodian for Church of All Saints, Hullopeter’s Meat Locker in New Richland, Ole Menske, Quiram’s Bakery and the New Richland Care Center for 17 ? years before retiring.

She was a member of Church of All Saints and the Catholic Daughters.

Helen is survived by her daughter Kathleen (Kate) Struckmann and husband Scott of Rochester, MN, grandsons: Brandon (Samantha) Studnicka and Bryan Studnicka (Lori and daughter Charlotte) of Rochester, MN; great granddaughter Ava Studnicka; step grandchildren: Kayla, Vanessa, Benjamin and Elainy Struckmann, sisters: Mary Burns of Janesville, MN and Margaret Schultz and her husband Norbert of New Richland, sister-in-law Jackie Dulas of Medford  and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ambrose, her parents Henry and Sarah Linnihan, brother Kenneth Linnihan, brothers-in-law: Matthew Burns and Sylvester Dulas .

Helen was greatly loved and will be truly missed.
