Thirsty for Theater performances set
Jeremiah and Vanessa Gamble, a.k.a. Theater for the Thirsty, will be performing their newest musical, “My Name is Daniel,” at the New Richland Community Center, at 203 N Broadway, New Richland MN 56072. A lion’s den, a fiery furnace… No, it’s not “Survivor: The Musical!” It’s a new take on the story of Daniel complete with a “Sound of Music” parody. Tickets for Friday, April 12 and Saturday April 13 are $12 per adult with kids 6 through 12 half price. The dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. with show to follow. Free childcare and dinner for ages 8 and under will be provided for those who wish to drop off their children at Vista Covenant Church. Tickets for the Sunday, April 14 matinee are $8 for everyone, desserts start at 2 p.m. with show to follow. Community Education trip May 9
NRHEG Community Ed has a trip planned to Minnetonka and Plymouth on Thursday, May 9. We will be touring the Great Harvest Bread Store and attending Ring of Fire, a tribute to Johnny Cash, at the Plymouth Playhouse. Call Marilyn Dobberstein for more information, (507) 417-2667.
Community Summer VBS set for June 3-7
The Community Summer Vacation Bible School will be held evenings June 3-7 at the Vibrant Life Assemble of God Church in Ellendale. This year, they will be hosting Rod Snow, who presents Gospel messages through chalk talk drawings and ventriloquism. His presentation is titled “Chalk for Christ” and is a service that appeals to all ages through art, music, message, and ventriloquism. Look for registration materials and more information soon.
