Waseca Relay for Life kickoff Feb. 21

The journey to end cancer starts with a single step, and you can join us. The Relay For Life of Waseca County kick off meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 at the Waseca Fire Department meeting room, 117 2nd Ave. SE., for all Committee Members, Team Captains, and anyone interested in starting a new team for the 2013 Relay for Life event.

This informational meeting covers all the details about the event, sponsorship information and how to register your team. This event is part of the American Cancer Society’s global Relay for Life movement.

When you walk to end cancer at a Relay event, it’s your opportunity to not only honor cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost, but also to raise awareness about what we can do to stay well and raise money to help fuel the world’s largest walk to end cancer.

Are you ready to celebrate more birthdays? We are! Please bring your family, friends, and neighbors and join us in making the 20th anniversary Relay For Life of Waseca County a huge success. The relay is scheduled for Friday, June 21st at the Waseca County Fair Grounds. Let’s make this a Relay For Life reunion.
