SCHS announces Thanksgiving hours
The Steele County Historical Society announces that the History Center will be open Friday, November 23 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturday, November 24 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. We invite you to do some holiday shopping in our Gift Shop featuring over 30 local artisans. Decorated trees from the ADD Festival of Trees will also be on display, and guests will also be able to enjoy a sneak preview of the Minnesota Homefront exhibit. WARE to meet Dec. 3
The Waseca Area Retired Educators (WARE) will be having a Christmas meeting on Monday, December 3 at 12:30 p.m. at Realife Cooperative in Waseca. A light buffet lunch will be served. There will be music and time to socialize. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Neighborhood Service Center. Cash donations are also welcome. All area retired educators, including administrators, teachers, and paraprofessionals, are invited to attend.
Bloodmobile to be in Waldorf Dec. 4

Moen performing at Chanhassen
NRHEG High School graduate Adam Moen, a recent BFA Musical Theatre graduate of MSU Mankato, is performing at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres in "Bye Bye Birdie." Phones are ringing off the hook when Kim MacAfee of Sweet Apple, Ohio, wins the honor of bidding Elvis-like rock & roll star Conrad Birdie goodbye with one last kiss on "The Ed Sullivan Show." A satire done with the fondest affection, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres breathes new life into this Broadway Tony Award-winning musical of the '60s featuring hits like "Put On a Happy Face," "Telephone Hour," "A Lot of Living' to Do," and "Kids." Adam has been performing at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre since the show opened in October. The show runs through March 30, 2013.
