More recently, he was employed by Vern’s Trucking, and Christensen Trucking, until he retired due to health reasons. Elroy enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He always had a smile on his face and willing to share a good joke. Elroy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Elroy is survived by his children: Julie (Donald) Pimentel; Kevin (Keshi) Utpadel; and Kimberly (Kevin) Nordlund; grandchildren, Gina (Michael) Arnold; Chelsey Nordlund & Ashley Nordlund; Jason Utpadel and Roxanna Utpadel; Debbie (Tom) Magoon; great-grandchildren: Ariana Arnold; Paige Simon; Hailey Magoon and Shannon Magoon; brothers, Roger (Sandy) Utpadel and Curtis (Lynette) Utpadel; brothers and sister-in-laws, Shree Utpadel; Eugene (Bernice) Cornelius; LaVonna (Don) Ruhl; Verna (Richard) Wise; Vernon (Jennifer) Cornelius; Debra (Gerald) Hegert, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Elroy was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen; parents, Eldo and Cordelia Utpadel; in-laws, Loren and Katherine Cornelius; brother, Laverne Utpadel; infant sister, Janice Mary; brother and sister-in law, Melvin and Lyda Cornelius; and infant great-granddaughter, Allyssa Arnold.
