Eunice Maxine Jensen, 82, of Reeds Spring, Missouri formerly of Ellendale, died Monday, October 8, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Branson, Missouri. 

Eunice Olson Jensen was born December 1, 1929 at their farm home across from Beaver Lake in Steele County the daughter of Albert and Sophia (Jensen) Olson. She was the 12th child of 9 girls and 3 boys, all delivered by Dr. Ertel.  At the age of four, Eunice moved with her family to Geneva and lived there until she was united in marriage to Freebert “Bud” Jensen on November 15, 1946 at the Assembly of God Church in Ellendale. 

She was a lifetime member of the Assembly of God Church in Ellendale and accepted Jesus as Lord of her life and served him all of her life.  Eunice and Bud farmed most of their life and after leaving farming the couple moved to Geneva.  Eunice worked at Perkins and O.M.C. in Owatonna.  In 1985, the couple moved to Berryville, Arkansas where she worked as a tour guide at the “Great Passion Play” in Eureka Springs for five years.  They returned to Minnesota making their home in Ellendale in 1990.  She worked in the library for the Ellendale Public School for 10 years. Bud died on August 10, 2002.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (and Mack) Walker of Reeds Spring; sons Mark (and Sue) Jensen of Springfield, Dale (and Beth) Jensen of Springfield; Kevin (and Marcia) Jensen of Red Wing; a sister, Phyllis Tarr of Owatonna; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Freebert “Bud” Jensen; three brothers and seven sisters.

Visitation will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. Private graveside service will be held in the Geneva Cemetery in Geneva, Minnesota.  Arrangements by Michaelson Funeral Home.
