Juanita loved to talk on the phone to her friends and family.  She loved her family and would always talk about them and praise them.  She loved the shows Band Wagon and Dancing with the Stars.  She loved to take care of people.  

She is survived by her son, Randy (and Cindy) Matejcek of Marrifield; her daughter, Marcia Halvorson (and Troy Vavra) of Owatonna; four grandchildren, Joshua Matejcek Lore, Tessa Matejcek, Samantha Halvorson, and Cody Halvorson; two great granddaughters, Brailee Anderson and Lileigh Matejcek; two brothers, LeRoy Peterson of Albert Lea, and Richard (and Bonnie) Peterson of Ellendale; a sister, Judi (and Jack) Nashette of Chesterfield, VA; nieces and nephews, an aunt and uncle, and her cherished dog, Allie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Lori (2004), and sister-in-law, Gladys Peterson (2008).  

Private funeral services will be held Friday, September 14, 2012 at Michaelson Funeral Home with The Reverend Julie Malone officiating.
