For the third week in a row, the shooters of the NRHEG clay target team outscored all other squads and thus extended their lead in Conference 9 of the Fall Target League.

The team had eight athletes in the top 10 scorers of the week, led by Collin Christiansen with a score of 48/50.

"Collin had been struggling a bit this season," noted coach Dan Sorum. "So, it was nice to see him get back into the groove and post a great score."

The team still has a whole lineup of kids in the conference's top 25 shooters, led by Waseca High School's Kyle Bartz with a 24 average for 25 targets. He is followed by Albert Lea High School's Alex Romer, second with a 23.5 average. Alex scored a perfect 25 round this past week.

Also in the top 25 are Tyler Raimann (NRHEG), 4th, Noah Nielsen (NRHEG), 5th, Zachary Eustice (WHS), 5th, Tory Christiansen (NRHEG), 8th, Noah Alinder (WHS), 11th, Collin Christiansen (NRHEG), 13th, Evan Dobberstein (NRHEG), 14th, and Otto Oquist (NRHEG), 15th.  Bartz, Romer, and Raimann remain in the Top 100 shooters in the state with Bartz in the top 10 of that list.

The team has two weeks of competition left. They shoot every Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Owatonna Gun Club south of Hope. Spectators are welcome to attend.
