“It was a good meet for our boys,” said Panthers coach Duey Ferber. “It was fun to see some other teams than we usually see. We didn’t score a lot of points tonight, but the boys performed well.”

The Panthers’ top finish was second by the 4x800-meter relay team of Tyler Schlaak, John Cole, Brenden McMann and Josh Flemming, which clocked 8:58.24.

Keith Maxon was third in the discus with a toss of 142-6.

Other NRHEG places: 4x200 relay, fourth (Aaron Seath, Nathan Krause, Noah Sletten, Zach Mely); 4x400 relay, fourth (Cole, Schlaak, Krause, Flemming); Kevin Kalis, fourth, shot put and discus; Cole, fifth, 3200; Schlaak, fifth, triple jump and sixth, 800; 4x100, fourth (Seath, Mely, Noah Sletten, Krause).

Kevin Kalis led the Panthers with two firsts, in the shot put at 44-4 and in the discus at 142-7. John Cole won the 3200 meters in 10:58.

Other NRHEG places: Keith Maxon, second, discus and fourth, shot put; 4x800 relay, second (Schlaak, Flemming, McMann, Cole); Krause, third, 800; Schlaak, fourth, 800 and sixth, triple jump; 4x100 relay, fourth (Seath, Krause, Mely, Sletten); 4x200, fourth (Seath, Krause, Mely, Sletten); Sletten, fifth, 100 and sixth, long jump; Agro Gushwa, fifth, 400; Flemming, fifth, 800; Brady Agrimson, fifth, high jump; Todd Erickson, fifth, discus and sixth, shot put; 4x400 relay, fifth (Schlaak, Flemming, Gushwa, Cole); McMann, sixth, pole vault.
