Advancing to section for the Panthers are Carlie Wagner, Maddie Wagner, Marnie Wagner, Hailey Schuller, Emmy Hobbs, Kayla Lindell and Abby Wacholz.
Wagner, the defending state high jump champion, won that event, going 5-4. The junior also anchored the first-place 4x200-meter relay team that included Hailey Schuller and her twin sisters, Maddie and Marnie. They won in 1:52.18 with Carlie prevailing in a heated battle down the stretch.
Carlie also advanced in the 200, in which she was second in 27.36 seconds.
Hobbs was second in the pole vault at 8-6.
Schuller, a freshman, qualified for section in three individual events, taking third in the 300 hurdles in 53.31, fourth in the 100 hurdles in 17.08 and fourth in the long jump at 14-10.5.
Wacholz made it in the triple jump, placing third at 30-1.
Lindell advanced in both throwing events, taking third in the shot put at 34-9 and third in the discus at 105-5.

USC/AC won the meet with 190 points. Waseca was second at 173.5. The Panthers had 135, WEM 134, Maple River 82.5 and JWP 32.
The Section 2A meet is Saturday, June 1 at Mankato West High School. The first-place relays and top two individuals in each event advance to state, along with those meeting qualifying standards. The state meet is June 6-7 at Hamline University.
