Jill Kalis had the Panthers’ other first, winning the discus with a toss of 113-11. Kaylee Mason was second in the discus at 103-6 and sixth in the shot put.

“The throwers had another big night,” said Ferber. “They are a huge part of our scoring.”
USC/AC won the boys’ meet with 190 points, followed by BEA with 134, Waseca 132 and NRHEG 72.
Evan Ferber was the Panthers’ lone first-place finisher, winning the triple jump at 37-1. He was third in the 300 hurdles.
The Panthers picked up three seconds, by T.J. Schiltz in the 3200, Tony Wacholz in the discus and the 4x200 relay team of Ross Chester, Brian Billing, Geoff Ramaker and Matt Webster.

“Evan Ferber had a nice night,” said Coach Ferber. “T.J. Schiltz had another good 3200 race. His times are coming down. Tony Wacholz had another good night in the throws.”
The Panthers were scheduled to run Tuesday, April 26 at Maple River. They compete Friday, April 29 at Blue Earth and Tuesday, May 3 at Blooming Prairie.
