This baseball season, Lundberg played in 21 of 22 games, had 74 at-bats, 25 runs, 32 hits, 20 putouts, 66 assists, 1 error, 8 doubles, 3 triples, 20 stolen bases, 8 walks, 21 RBIs, a batting average of .432 and a field average of .988. He also pitched in 8 games and was 6-0, striking out 59 and walking 26 192 batters and with of 3.53.

Lundberg is excited to play with some of Minnesota’s best baseball players, and is grateful to be given the opportunity.

“None of it would be possible without my teammates, coaches, and family members surrounding me and helping me become the best that I can be each and every day,” Lundberg said.

This fall, Lundberg plans on attending Gustavus Adolphus, where he will play football and possibly baseball. He will major in physical education and minoring in coaching.

“This is all one more step to leading me to what I really want to do, which is to one day become a collegiate football coach at a big university school,” he said.
