Coach Duey Ferber did the math, and it added up to a great meet for the NRHEG girls' track and field team.
"Six first places and four sec- ond places," said Ferber, "equals a good night."
The Panthers finished second in USC/AC's Kent Viesselman Invitational at Wells last Tuesday. LCWM/Nicollet won with 295.5 points. NRHEG had 275. Six teams competed.
Three of the Panthers firsts belonged to senior Evelyn Nydegger, who won the 100- meter high hurdles in 17.48 sec- onds, the 300 intermediate hur- dles in 50.42, and the triple jump at 32 feet, 3 inches.
Quinn VanMaldeghem won the 800 with a time of 2:34.67. Anike Ladlie took the high jump at 4-10.
Kiera Lenort, Sierra Misgen, Chloe Riewer and Camryn VanMaldeghem teamed to win the 4x200 relay in 1:59.46.
