The NRHEG track and field teams finished second among eight schools in last Tuesday's Maple River Invitational.
The girls totaled 136 points, second to JWP with 163. Blue Earth Area was third with 102.5.
Evelyn Nydegger continued her stellar spring, winning the 100-meter high hurdles in 17.62 seconds, the 300 hurdles in 50.27 and the triple jump at 32-00.5. Quinn VanMaldeghem won the 800 in 2:38.0.
Keira Lenort, Nydegger, Holly Bartness and VanMaldeghem were second in the 4x400 relay.

"Evelyn Nydegger is on a mission to start the season," said NRHEG coach Duey Ferber. "For a colder meet, we performed well with some nice times and distances. The girls are stepping up and filling in for injured runners."
The NRHEG boys totaled 114 points. Maple River won with 175.16. JWP was third with 101.3.
William Tuttle swept the hurdles, taking the 110 highs in 16.34 and the 300 intermediates in 42.72. Lucas Hanna tossed the discus 115-01 for first while Jaylin Raab won the long jump at 19-7. Sawyer Prigge, Aidan Deyle, Harbor Cromwell and Raab won the 4x400 in 3:41.9.

"Will Tuttle put on a show," said Ferber. "He's making a name for himself within our section. The 4x400 had the most exciting race of the night as Raab came from about 10 meters behind to win."
The Panthers compete Tuesday, April 25 at 4:30 at Blooming Prairie and April 28 at Blue Earth.
