The NRHEG High School girls’ basketball team drew the No. 3 seed in the Section 2AA South Sub-section tournament.

The Panthers hosed No. 6 seed Maple River Tuesday in the opening round. The winner of that game plays Thursday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Mankato East High School, probably against No. 2 seed Waseca, which hosted No. 7 Blue Earth Area in the first round.

The sub-section championship game is Monday, March 6 at 6 p.m. at Minnesota State Mankato’s Taylor Center. The winner of that game faces the north sub-section winner Friday, March 10 at 7:45 for the Section 2AA championship and state tournament berth.
