The 12U QCBA team played three games last week, going 2-1 to push their record to 5-6. On June 27, the boys beat Waseca KC 12-8 in New Richland. Severin Eads, Walker Thompson, and Alex Dobberstein combined pitching for the home team. Ulrich Woollard and Ralph Roesler each had two hits and Jack Olson had a double along with singles from Nik Petsinger and Eads.

On June 29, the boys traveled to Owatonna and won 12-4. Tyrone Wilson and Clay Stenzel pitched. Olson was hot at the plate, picking up a double and three singles. Wilson had a triple and a single. Thompson cranked a double and Matthew Mueller, Ben Schoenrock, Eads, and Stenzel added hits.

The winning ended June 30 at Wells where QCBA lost a closely contested game 6-5. Woollard and Eads pitched well, but the 12U team couldn't scratch together enough runs. Stenzel bombed a home run in the loss and hits were gained by Ashton Raimann, Olson, Woollard, Eads, and Schoenrock.

The 11U Red team played a thriller in Ellendale June 28. They fell behind JWP 13-3 before mounting one of their patented comebacks. Daxter Lee came in to pitch and shut out the Bulldogs for three innings. Blake Eustice pitched one-run ball in the 7th, leaving the score 14-9 headed to the home half. That's when the excitement mounted as QCBA scored six runs with the benefit of only one hit to pull out the win when Anton Domeier scampered home on a wild pitch for the 15-14 win.

In addition to picking up the pitching win, Eustice had two hits and four runs scored. Will Tuttle added two hits, including an RBI triple. Sawyer Prigge had a hit and 3 RBIs while Aden Berg added a hit and 2 RBIs. Domeier had four runs after receiving free passes in each plate appearance.

The 11U Black team picked up two wins on back-to-back nights against USC, winning 13-8 in Wells and 16-6 in Ellendale. The two 11U teams scrimmaged on June 30 and called the game a tie rather than play a competitive game against their friends. The Red team sits at 5-5-1, and the Black team is 4-4-2.
