The NRHEG softball team had an outstanding session of batting practice Friday.

Both went 3-for-4 as the Panthers throttled JWP 12-1 in five innings at Janesville.
The Panthers, 3-2 in the Gopher Conference, improved to 10-4 overall.
“The girls hit the ball pretty well tonight,” said coach Wendy Schultz. “And they played pretty good defense in very cold weather.”
Johns swung a hot bat, totaling three RBIs and scoring three runs. Knudson doubled, drove in a run and scored twice. Torrie Stencel was 2-for-4 with four RBIs and one run. Gabby Muri and Skylar Lembke doubled. Natalie Aaseth singled. Kayley Camerer, Sarah Johns and Anna Lundberg scored one run apiece.
