The NRHEG girls’ golf squad finished first in a four-team field at Riverview Thursday, May 5.
The Panthers won with 212 strokes for nine holes. USC had 229, Maple River 260. Blooming Prairie didn’t have a full crew.
Grace Logan, the Panthers’ No. 5 golfer in the lineup, shot a 48 to lead not only NRHEG but take medalist honors. Ryley Koziolek, playing in the No. 6 slot, shot a 50. Kyra Possin and Tali Wayne rounded out the scoring with 57s. Bayli Possin and Jessica Nafe also played.
The NRHEG boys played at Blooming Prairie Country Club Tuesday, May 3 and were fifth out of five teams with 218 for nine holes. Blooming Prairie had 167, Maple River 176, USC 181, Bethlehem Academy 193.
Scoring for the Panthers: Atom Oquist, 50; Chris Stenzel, 53; Nick Shultz, 56; Aaron, 59.
The medalist was Tommy Braaten of Blooming Prairie with a 39.
