The NRHEG boys’ and girls’ golf teams competed twice last week.
On Tuesday, the boys lost 168-190 to JWP while the girls defeated an incomplete JWP squad.
Scoring for the boys: Jake Langlie 43, Kelson Titus 47, Macoy Schwierjohann 49, Nick Shultz 51. Nathan Schmitz of JWP was the medalist with a 39.
Scoring for the NRHEG girls were Jessica Nafe 54, Bayli Possin 54, Tali Wayne 59 and Kyra Possin 62.The squads played 18 holes in the New Ulm Invitational Thursday.
Girls’ team scores: Jordan 377, Fairmont 427, Blue Earth Area 439, Glencoe-Silver Lake 450, New Ulm 476, NRHEG 483. NRHEG scores: Wayne 115, Kyra Possin 121, Lauren Herrmann 123, Bayli Possin 124. The medalist was Jordan’s Trianna Thong with an 84.
Boys’ team scores: New Ulm 307, Jordan 350, Fairmont 354, Blue Earth Area 362, NRHEG 368, Glencoe-Silver Lake 431. Two schools had incomplete teams. Panther scores: Langlie 87, Schwierjohann 90, Cole Lenort 91, Titus 100. Tanner Zupfer of New Ulm fired a 74 for medalist honors.
