Bonnie Jean (Bell) Hood was a caring mom, grandma, sister, and friend. She went to sleep in Jesus on August 17, 2022 in Boise, Idaho at the age of 76.

Bonnie was born in Waseca, Minn. to George and Doris Bell on May 23, 1946. She spent the first 13 years of her life experiencing adventures with her little brother, Danny, and cousins, before mov- ing to Berrien Springs, Mich. She loved family, and this move brought her closer to even more cousins, aunts, and uncles.

After high school, Bonnie completed an LPN program in Hins- dale, Ill. She was a caregiver at heart and enjoyed her time working in hospitals and other facilities helping others.

Her family and friends will never forget her quiet, sweet spirit. Although reserved, Bonnie was one who loved to be social and have fun, but never liked being the center of attention. She loved watching sports and game shows, playing board games, and just spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Doris, and her nephew Don Bell. She is survived by her children Todd (Jackie) Hood of Nampa, Idaho, Brian (Lisa) Hood of Richmond, Calif., Tammie (Kaleb) Knauff of Nampa, Idaho, her brother Danny (Carolyn) Bell of Bend, Ore., her nephew Cory Bell of Newport, Wash., and five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Bonnie’s memory to Caldwell Adventist Elementary School or Gem State Adventist Academy in Caldwell, Idaho.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 27, at 5 p.m. at the Gem State Adventist Academy Church in Caldwell, Idaho.
