James Richard was born June 4th, 1936 in Madelia, MN to William and Ruth (Bolton) Webster. He was raised on the family farm in rural Minnesota Lake by his aunt and uncle, Hazel and William Burmeister, from the age of eight until he graduated from Waldorf Pemberton HS in 1954. Thereupon he took over the family farmstead and on June 7th, 1958, married Suzanne Neste and together they farmed the land and raised four children.

Jim was an impassioned farmer for over 50 years and in addition sold seed corn for PAG Seeds. He was an avid sports fan, devoutly following his beloved Twins, reluctantly supporting the Vikings, and could always be found cheering on the Lady Gophers. He was a lifetime member of Zoar UCC in Waldorf where he served many years as a council member. While he enjoyed camping and fishing in the outdoors, he truly adored the simple visits with family and friends around the dining room table.  He was a wonderful father, Papa, brother, and friend but nothing compares to the love he had for Suzy.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, his aunt and uncle, siblings Bill Webster, Bob Webster, Paul Webster, Leota Stiernagle, and Juanita Smith. Jim’s spirit is carried on by his loving and devoted wife Suzy, sister Ruth Raskin, Newport Beach, CA; daughters Cindy (Larry) Fennert, Waldorf, MN; Debbie Webster, Waseca, MN; Ruthie Webster, Waldorf, MN; and son Daniel Webster, Apache Junction, AZ; 9 grandchildren: Molly (Duane) Brunsen, Emily Larsen, J.D. (Corina) Rios, Laura Johnson, Hunter, Courtney, Hattie and Chloe Terhark and James Webster; 10 great-grandchildren: Hannah, James, Emma, Abby, Nick, Angelica, Anna, J.D., Kayla and Jaxon; great-granddaughter Elsie.
