Roland “Rollie” Krienke, age 83, of New Richland, died on July 2, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Larry Griffin, officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in St. John’s Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

Roland Fred Krienke was born on March 15, 1936, in rural Waseca County to Fred and Leona (Roeker) Krienke. He attended Waldorf High School. On November 24, 1959, Rollie was united in marriage to Evangeline LaFayette at the Trinity Lutheran Church Parsonage. Together they had one son and lived in various places throughout southern Minnesota. Rollie worked various jobs throughout his life, some of these included working at Herter’s in Waseca, driving taxi, and working for various farmers in the county. He raised dobermans and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan. Rollie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Janesville. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and visiting with family and friends. Rollie is survived by his wife, Evangeline of New Richland; sisters: Vi (Del) Radloff of Janesville, and Jan (Gene) Radloff-Bruss of Minneapolis; sisters-in-law: Blossom (Paul) Stennes of New Richland, June Fasnacht of Mankato, Marilyn (Harvey) Rannow of Madelia, Carolyn Kimbro of Black Duck, Ramona Nickley of Barnesville; brothers-in-law: Delmer LaFayette of Waldorf, Junior LaFayette of Waseca, and Donald (Marie) LaFayette of Gibbon; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and son, Roger in 2014.
