Judith M. Supalla, age 79, peacefully passed away surrounded by family, July 4, 2018 at her home in Owatonna.
Friends greeted the family from 4-7 PM Tuesday July 10, 2018 at the Brick Meger Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral at church. Mass of Christian burial was Wednesday July 11, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:30 AM, with interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery. There was a parish rosary recited at 9:15 AM at the church before the mass.
Judy was born February 28, 1939, to parents Russell and Janice (Christenson) Olson in Albert Lea. She graduated in 1957 from New Richland High School. Judy married Jim Supalla in 1961 in Waldorf.
Hobbies included fishing, traveling, vacations to Florida, playing card and board games with family and friends. Places she worked included; the family farm, managing the A&W in New Richland, Supalla Equipment in Hartland, Wally’s cleaners and Cindy’s Tailoring, and Casey’s General Store in Owatonna MN. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church for over 30 years.
Her smile, spunky attitude and quick wit will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; Brad (Sarah) Supalla, Waseca MN; Carol (John Arens) Supalla, Austin, MN; grandchildren, Lora (Isaac) Skelton, Austin MN and Hunter Supalla, Waseca MN; great grand children, Lila and Jax Skelton, sisters, Jean Ann Eliasson and Trudy Olson.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Janice; her sisters Janet and Chris and brother Russell.
