Tommy died at his home on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.  He was 53.

Tommy was born on April 25, 1965 in Wells, MN, the son of Thomas J. Chicos Jr. and Ruth (Convey) Chicos. He grew up with his family on the farm, a place he loved to be.  He graduated from Freeborn High School and graduated college from Mankato State in Mankato, MN.

Tommy had worked for several area elevators, including Oakland, Poet in Glenville and WFS in Clarks Grove, MN.

He played baseball, softball, basketball and enjoyed a good game of golf. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing and hunting as well as being a spectator at any sporting event.

Tommy is survived by his sons, Zac Chicos of Albert Lea and his special friend Hannah Emery of Mpls, MN, and Spencer Chicos of Albert Lea, his parents,  Thomas and Ruth Chicos, Jr. of New Richland,  his siblings: Bob (Barb) Chicos of North Mankato, MN, Connie (Terry) Litchfield of  Clearwater, Florida, Patti (Mark) Siegfried of Faribault, MN, Gail (Del) Point of Waterville, MN, Gary (Mary) Chicos, of Alden, MN; nieces and nephews: Amanda (Ben) Roiger and children Harper and Henrik of Mankato, MN, Nate Chicos of Mpls, MN, Melissa (Andrew) Prashad of New York, NY, Christine (Matt) McEwen of Mpls, MN, Michelle Siegfried of Mpls, MN, Matt Siegfried of Mpls, MN, Toni Chicos and Sydney Chicos, of Alden, MN; and the mother to his sons, Elly Chicos, of Albert Lea.

He was preceded in death by his brother Patrick in infancy.

He was thought of as the “fun” uncle. We will all miss Tommy.

“The day of perfection has come for Tommy, it is a bright, good morning for him”
