Funeral services for Dolores A. Olson, age 85, of Hartland, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday January 20, 2018 at Hartland Evangelical Lutheran Church.  Rev. Shawn Stafford will officiate. Interment will be at Hartland Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. on Friday, January 19 at Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home in Albert Lea and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Dolores died Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, Albert Lea.

Dolores Ann Olson was born June 27, 1932 in Lerdal, Minnesota, the daughter of Ernest and Pearl (Dahl) Lee. She grew up on a farm near Manchester and graduated from Freeborn High School. On December 31, 1950, Dolores was united in marriage to Leslie Miller Olson at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church in Hartland. They were married for 64 years when Les passed in 2015. Dolores enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a member of Hartland Evangelical Lutheran Church. She belonged to Mission Circle – Naomi Group and taught Sunday School at Cross of Glory.  She was also a member of the Legion Auxiliary. Dolores enjoyed fishing in her younger years, camping, putting puzzles together, spending time with kids and grandkids.  She loved to go to the casino when she could. 

Dolores is survived by children, Nancy (Raymond) Toot of Hartland, Deb (Larry) Flatness of Hartland, Kim (Dave) Peterson of Waseca, Amy (Paul) Martinson of Owatonna, and Anna (Ed) Durst of Owatonna; grandchildren, Ben Lutgens, Brandon Flatness, Sarah Madson, Andrew Flatness, Jennifer Nace, Ryan Peterson, Travis Peterson, Ali Brown, Kenna Brown, Myranda Shaw, Mason Lohberger, and McKinzy Butler; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, David Lee and Dean Lee; and a large extended family.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Olson; parents, Ernest and Pearl; sister, Bonnie Wendelboe; and great-grandson, Jack Flatness.
