Victoria Mary Wilder, age 95, of Wells, MN, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at The Shepherd’s Inn, Wells, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells, MN. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2 from 1–4 p.m. at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN, with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Father Thomas Niehaus will officiate and interment will be in St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery in Wells. Victoria Wilder was born May 14, 1918 in Wells, MN, the daughter of John J. and Magdalen (Yokiel) Dulas. She was raised on a farm near Wells. She attended St. Casimir Parochial School through 8th Grade. Victoria was united in marriage to Eugene Wilder at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells on October 24, 1938, and together they raised 5 children. Victoria was a homemaker all her life. She enjoyed gardening, painting, quilting and dancing. She was very proud of the weed-free front lawn and flowers around the house.Victoria is survived by her children: Mary Alice (LaVoy) Ebnet of New Richland, Donald (Carol) Wilder of Wells, Jeff Wilder of Rochester, MN, Julie (Dan) Sonnek of Mankato; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, 2 step-grandsons, and 1 foreign exchange granddaughter from Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 siblings in infancy, brother Norbert, daughter Marlene, and husband Eugene.
