After a very promising start, the Panthers look to continue their success in the following weeks. We sat down with some players and head coach Marc Kruger to see how they feel for the rest of the season. Walker Thompson, one of the captains of the Panthers, was very enthusiastic about the team and the rest of the season.

“We have a very well rounded team, with a lot of experience and a lot of skill on both sides of the ball.”

Jack Olson and Porter Peterson were also very confident about how the team is doing and all the potential they have. “We look good everywhere and all around as a team, '' Senior Quarterback Porter Peterson said.

“We have a lot more potential that has been untouched, and I'm excited to see what we can do the rest of the season,” Senior wide receiver Jack Olson commented.

Head Coach Marc Kruger had a lot to say about the Panthers in upcoming games. “I feel good and feel like we can compete better than any team we have coming up. We have gotten better and better each game and you can tell, when we come out firing off the ball, we have played better compared to games we haven’t done that.”

The Panthers are currently 2-2 while being undefeated at home. Their next game is a homecoming matchup Saturday against the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (GFW) Thunderbirds. The Panthers look to add a win to their record, and stay undefeated at home. After homecoming, the Panthers have two straight road games against the Medford Tigers on Oct. 8, and the Blooming Prairie Blossoms on Oct. 15. They end the regular season at home against the WEM Buccaneers on October 20.
