Homecoming week 2018 at NRHEG High School kicks off Monday, Sept. 24 when the queen and king are crowned. Coronation is set for 7:30 p.m. in the high school gymnasium in New Richland.
The royalty will be crowned — based on a vote of the grade 9-12 student body — and will reign over Homecoming week.
This year’s candidates, based on vote by their classmates, are:
Queen
• Alexis Anderson, daughter of David and Heidi Anderson
• Olivia Christopherson, daughter of Doug and Karla Christopherson
• Jayna Finseth, daughter of Jim and Saundra Finseth
• Lexie Ignaszewski, daughter of Tim and Tracy Ignaszewski
• Laura Worrell, daughter of Taff and Jean Worrell
King
• Quinten Arndt, son of Justin and Sheila Arndt
• Alex Buckmeier, son of Andrew and Jody Buckmeier
• Tyler Jacobson, son of Eric and Heidi Jacobson
• Ross Lenort, son of Tom Lenort and Kari Kalstad
• John Reynolds-Hinderscheit, son of William Hinderscheit and Lori Reynolds
Dress-up days at the high school are planned for each day of the week.
Scheduled events
Coronation is at the NRHEG High School gymnasium in New Richland and is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
The elementary pep fest is schedule for Friday, Sept. 28 in the NRHEG elementary school gymnasium at 8:40 a.m.
The high school pep fest is at 1:30 p.m. in New Richland in the high school gymnasium.
The annual Homecoming parades are set for Friday, Sept. 22 at 12:30 p.m. in Ellendale and 2:15 p.m. in New Richland.
The Panthers face WEM at 7 p.m. on Friday in the Homecoming football game. Homecoming royalty will be recognized during the halftime program. Immediately following the game will be the Homecoming dance in the high school gymnasium.
