The University of Minnesota, Southern Research and Outreach Center (SROC) will hold their annual Winter Crops Day meetings at five locations.
Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 11 the program will be held at the Community Center in St. Charles.
On Thursday, Jan. 12, programs will be held at the Community Center in Arlington and Lakes Sports Bar & Grill in Lake Crystal.
Cost of the event is $35, which will include morning refreshments, lunch and handout materials. Continuing education credits have been applied for certified crop advisers. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and the program runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Friday, Jan. 13, a new format will be featured. The program will follow a specific topic, split into a morning session, and an afternoon session. You can choose to attend one or both sessions. The program will again be held at events in Kasson and the Southern Research and Outreach Center in Waseca.
Cost for Friday’s program is $25, for each session, lunch is $10 or you can attend both session and lunch for $50. Morning refreshments, lunch and handout materials are provided. The annual Winter Crops Day meetings are open to the public. Producers, farm managers, ag consultants and salespeople, or others interested in learning more about economically favorable and environmentally sustainable practices for ag producers are encouraged to attend.
