Clue No. 1

It’s time for medallion hunt clues

This is how you’ll be getting the news

In limerick form

Be sure to brainstorm

Each week they’ll be coming in twos

We want you to get inspired

In places now used and retired

Good luck to you all

Keep your eye on the ball

Exploring WILL be required

Clue No. 2

Imagine if, at the grounds,

A pea would fly out of bounds

And travel so distant

To land in an instant

Where the medallion is found

Or maybe the hit would be fair

And stay on track through the air

For hundreds of yards

You’d have to regard

Could the medallion be there?

Clue No. 3

Inside, a goal could be made

On grounds where children once played

A wild contact sport

On a grassy court

In Waseca’s recent days

Equipment all shapes and sizes

Where kids did their exercises

Once sprinters pressed on

And passed the baton

As the fan cheering rises

Clue No. 4

If a ball hit from the plate

Sailed fast but not at all straight

Three twenty foul line

Could that be a sign

Where the medallion awaits?

East of here, kids’ boots can slide

Or sled down the hill at a glide

A glance to the west

Could help pass the test

Keen eyes could see where it hides

Clue No. 5

Placed in wide open surroundings

The medallion’s in foliage abounding

Enduring all weather

While standing together

A wind break taking a pounding

We hope these clues helped you know

If you should look high or low

The medallion still hides

Though in winter disguise

It may be covered in snow
