These are the wishes of NRHEG Elementary School students, and the NRHEG PTO would like to see them come true.
The PTO is planning a 5K fun run/walk to help fund new playground equipment at NRHEG Elementary School on Saturday, June 27 — during Ellendale Days — starting and finishing at the Ellendale City Park. Registration is from 8-9 a.m. with the 5K race to begin at 9. Registrations are in advance or on race day. To guarantee a T-shirt, registrations and $25 entry fee are due Friday, May 22 at NRHEG Elementary, or send to school with a student. Make checks payable to NRHEG PTO. All youth participants 13 and under must have an adult present at the race.Donations can also be dropped off at the Ellendale bank.
To add to the excitement of the event, NRHEG High School graduate and current Minnesota Golden Gopher Carlie Wagner will be present to sign autographs.
