Legion seeks history of cannon in the park
Anyone with information on the cannon in New Richland City Park, please talk to Earl Parriott or commander of American Legoin Post 75 Jeff Jessen. Information they’re looking for: What year was it placed? Who were the city fathers at the time? What war was it from? Was it put there by the state or federal government? Any other information people have about the cannon will be greatly appreciated.
