As I’m watching the World Series in baseball, one of the announcers excitingly utters, “Oh, my goodness.”
The first white man to visit Beaver Lake by Ellendale, Minnesota was John Goodness from England. John met the chief of the Indian tribe living just north of Beaver Lake and his beautiful daughter named “Omi” pronounced “Oh, My!” John and Omi, with the chief’s blessing, were married. About a year later Omi died in trying to give birth to two stillborn Siamese sons. This was too much for John and he returned to England.
The chief summoned his medicine to give recognition to his daughter Omi.
The medicine man performed a ceremony for Omi. The recognition to Omi was that anybody having been to Beaver Lake or any place close to Beaver Lake would utter, “Omi Goodness!” as an exclamation, thus, the recognition of Omi as per the chief’s request.
At a Twins playoff baseball game after an exciting play the TV announced “Omi Goodness!” twice in recognition of a close exciting plan.
If you listen to a conversation regarding Minnesota or a person from Minnesota you will hear “Oh, my goodness!”
Things you should know about the editor of this paper: A. His Dad’s birthday was October 14. B. He became an uncle 13. C. His birthday is November 17. D. In asking my computer Levi’s wedding date, the computer said “TBD.” I then asked what was “TBD.” “To Be Determined” was the answer.

If we can manufacture items that have a usable life of x number of days (milk eatables items, etc.), why can’t we manufacture bullets that last a certain length of time and then will not fire? To the person figuring the how-to – you can keep the monetary reward in selling the patent.
Congrats to Alden Dobberstein. 75 clay targets in a row, or another way of saying “75 shots in a row at 75 different targets without a miss. My reaction: “Unbelievable! Oh, my goodness!
Short Shorts:
