The Minnesota Twins baseball team has committed to spending a lot more on players salaries in the 2020 baseball season than in 2019. I suspect the following just might have something to do with the increase in player’s salary. This is their offer:
To any ticket purchaser of group tickets with payment in advance before April 1st, the Twins will let the purchaser buy up to the same amount of tickets in the U.S. Bank home run porch view section for $3 per ticket. This has to be completed by April 1st and only applies to home games in April. In other words, the group purchaser must buy their group tickets for any regular season game and then the group purchaser can buy the same number of tickets in the U.S. Bank Home Run Porch view for $3 per ticket with payment for those tickets by April 1 for a home game in April.
F.R.O.G. (Fully Rely on God,) an outreach ministry of Central Freeborn Lutheran Church to promote fun, food and fellowship, purchases 57 tickets annually to the Lutheran Night at the Twins. The game is Tuesday, July 28, 2020, playing the Los Angeles Dodgers. F.R.O.G. has purchased and paid for the tickets, thus F.R.O.G. is eligible to purchase 57 $3 seat tickets in the U.S. Bank Home Run Porch view section. F.R.O.G. has purchased and paid for 57 seats to the April 18 game against the Detroit Tigers.
F.R.O.G. is accepting the name, telephone number and number of tickets wanted by any group to the April 18 game playing the Detroit Tigers at 1:10 p.m.
The tickets are free from F.R.O.G. The group will provide their own transportation to the game.
A group is five or more people with F.R.O.G. deciding who gets the free tickets. The group will be informed by phone before April 1, 2020.
Co-chairs of F.R.O.G. will be accepting phone calls from a group wanting to go and how many in the group.
The group wanting to go must call: Bob and Genie Hanson at 507-373-8655 or Wayne and Bev Indrelie at 507-826-3267.
P.S. This is not a Ukraine type of event where you must contribute to the Hanson or Indrelie cause to be selected.
The group is asked to submit a picture of the group at the game for Twins publicity.
