The New Richland Area Foundation display will be set up in the City Council room during the 2014 Farm and City Days Pancake Breakfast on Saturday July 12 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The NRAF’s mission is to continually improve the community awareness in how to contribute and also make aware where the funds have helped in our community and schools.
The NRAF grants committee is dedicated to promote growth to the fund so that the grant dollars available can increase in order that our community and schools can continue to show pride in what New Richland has to offer.An example of needs showed again this year, as the grants committee received eight applications for a total of $35,382. The fund was only able to fund about 42% of those grants.
The hope is that you will stop by the display and check out what the NRAF is all about, how it has grown and how it is helping our schools and community. Ask about how you can be a contributor.
