HOME AGAIN — Gavin Berg is coming home to Trinity Lutheran Church for a concert Saturday, April 12.

Gavin Berg is coming home — again.

The NRHEG High School graduate will present a “Coming Home Concert” Saturday, April 12 at 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Richland.

Berg is releasing his debut solo piano album, “Inspire.”

The songs are drawn from the direct impact of life experiences; his collection of songs transforms emotion into a sound that anyone can relate to. From original songs written by Gavin to new arrangements of beloved hymns, love songs and Broadway classics. He’s hoping that each note will inspire a moment of enjoyment in your day.

While he and singer Meghan Krause were preparing a concert for their friends at the Waseca Arts Council, it was reinforced that creating music while at the piano was what he was meant to do. Gavin entered the recording studio shortly thereafter and recorded all 10 tracks in less than two days. Growing up in New Richland and graduating from NRHEG High School in 2002, it was at the young age of 12 that Gavin began playing piano at All Saints Catholic Church. The connections to this area run deep, making it all the more meaningful to ‘come home’ and premier his debut album.

No ticket cost, a free will offering will be accepted. Pre-release copies of “Inspire” will be available for $10. Gavin is the son of Burton and Connie Berg.
