Thank goodness for the hur- dle races.

That's what coach Duey Ferber was thinking after his squad's third-place finish in United South Central's Kent Viesselman Invitational at Wells last Tuesday.

Will Tuttle won the 110-meter high hurdles in 15.52 seconds. He finished first in the 300 intermediate hurdles in 42.35.

Other points in the hurdles were Levin Kitzer, third, 110 highs, and third, 300 intermedi- ates; and Parker Bunn, fourth, 300 intermediates.

Finishing second were Gavin Sletten, 800, 2:31.17; Jacob Karl, 3200, 11:34.74; 4x100 relay, 46.5 (Kitzer, Will Tuttle, Harbor Cromwell, Jaylin Raab); 4x400 rela, 3:58.96 (Bunn, Sletten, Wyatt Tuttle, Raab). Lavon Jewison cleared 5-6 for third in the high jump.
